Winifred Rodney Maples

Winifred Rodney Maples, 70, of Osceola, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on August 22, 1952 in Nocona, Texas to William Bill and Alice Reeves.

Rodney served his country in the United States Army and was based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Germany.

He is preceded in death by his biological parents and the parents that raised him: Dan Maples and Arlene Corley and two brothers: Randy Maples and Herbert Maples.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 52 years: Carolyn Maples of Osceola, Arkansas, one son: Lynn Maples and his partner Michael Skipper of Memphis, Tennessee, one grandchild: Derrick Gray of Memphis, Tennessee and a host of other family and friends.

There will not be any services at this time.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
