Troy Sylvester Brown, 78, of Lepanto, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas Troy was born on November 8, 1947, in Victoria, Arkansas, to Harden Edward Brown and Geraline Moore Brown He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Billy Ray Brown, James Edward Lee Brown, Orville Gene Brown, Benny Lee Brown, and Bobby Ray Lloyd Brown; and one sister, Mary Alice Brown. Troy is survived by one brother, Douglas Edward Lee Brown of Trumann, Arkansas; three sisters, Linda Faye Hamm of Cave City, Arkansas, Brenda Kay Brown of Trumann, Arkansas, and Sharon Kay Daniels of Trumann, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends Troy enjoyed fishing, tinkering with things, riding his scooter, hanging out at the gas station, telling jokes, and sharing stories of his younger days. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
