Travis Pitts, 70 of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on February 7, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on July 9, 1950 to Clayberne and Beatrice Simpson Pitts.

Travis retired in 2004 from the City of Memphis where he worked as an electronic Technician for 29 years.  He was a 1968 high school graduate of Marked Tree and later graduated from United Electronics Institute. He was of the Baptist faith, a Ham Radio Operator, photographer and a weather watcher.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Travis is survived by his wife of 52 years: Sharon Totty Pitts of Marked Tree, Arkansas one son: Travis Aaron Pitts of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two sisters: Carolyn Harsson Harper (Jerry) of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Linda Hinton (Carrol) of Tyronza, Arkansas, three brothers: Harold Pitts (Barbara) of Mountain View, Arkansas, David Pitts (Kathleen) of Mountain View, Arkansas and Keith Pitts (Teresa) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Jessica Moore of Blytheville, Arkansas and Kristen Pitts of Biggers, Arkansas, two great grandchildren: Xavier and Jason.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Due to Covid-19 social distancing, masks or face coverings are required. You must provide your own mask or face covering. We are also required by the State to have you sign a contact tracing form. Thank you with your help to maintain safety while offering condolences to the family.
