Thomas Parks, Sr., 70, of Vanndale, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2017 in Oak Point, Texas. He was born on June 16, 1946 to James Almus and Velma Marie Gooden Parks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Linda Sue Parks, brother: James Kenneth Parks and sister: Kathy Marie Parks.
Thomas is survived by 2 sons: Thomas Parks Jr. (Dee Dee) of Oak Point, Texas and Charles Parks (Carolyn) of Vanndale, Arkansas and 3 grandchildren: Olivia Parks, Vasilis Tsironis and Katherine Sender.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:30 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.
Due to inclement weather the funeral service has been changed to tomorrow January 7, 2017 at 2:30 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
