Sarah Baker

Sarah Nell Ray Baker, 76, departed this life on March 1, 2021 at her home.  She was born April 16, 1944 in Crenshaw, Mississippi to Archie Y. Sr. and Mary Jane Taylor Ray.

Sarah loved the Lord and attended Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Hardin, Kentucky.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Gerald William Baker, her parents, 2 sisters: Faye Gayden and Betty Croft.

Sarah is survived by two sons: Preston Baker (Loretta) of Corbin, Kentucky, and Dwayne Pharis (Kristie) of Turrell, Arkansas, two daughters: Blenda Owen of Murray, Kentucky, and Nora Wilson (Ralph) of Benton, Kentucky, one brother: Archie Ray, Jr. of Marion, Arkansas, one sister: Fran Hardin of Southaven, Mississippi. Fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. til service time at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow service in Tyronza Cemetery, Tyronza, Arkansas.
