Sandra Elaine Walling

Sandra Elaine Long Walling, 74, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home.  She was born on January 23, 1948 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Ford Long and Ruby Story Lewis.  Sandra graduated from Lepanto High School and received a Bachelor and Masters of Science from Arkansas State University.  She started her teaching career at Manila Elementary and retired after 25 years from East Poinsett County School District.  She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Johnny Walling, Sr., her parents, step-mother: Patsy Long and brother: Kennith Long.

Sandra is survived by two sons: John Walling (Michelle) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Brad Walling (Christina) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one brother: Billy Lewis of Lepanto, Arkansas, five grandchildren: Justin Walling, Jordan Walling, Calli Walling, John-Keith Walling and Lainey Walling and three great grandchildren: Jax Walling, Lily Walling and Koby Greene.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. and visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow service in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Brother Mark Constant will officiate the service.
