Rose Mary Collins

Rose Mary Collins, 73, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on January 8, 1953, in Whitton, Arkansas to Sidney J. and Virgie Mae Crouch Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Richard Phillips and Danny Lee Phillips, and one sister: Peggy Lindley, two stepsons: John Collins and Alvin Collins, Jr.,

Rose Mary is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years: Gene Collins of the home, one son: Christopher D. Hood (Nicole) of Bono, Arkansas, step daughter: Tammy Huffins of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one brother: Edward Phillips (Rhonda) of Fair Oaks, Arkansas, two sisters: Marie Ham (Billy) of Tyronza, Arkansas and Barbara Barbar of Tyronza, Arkansas, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

Rose Mary was a hardworking and devoted woman who spent her life caring for her family. Throughout her working years, she worked as a factory worker, truck driver and homemaker. She was of the Church of Christ faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and riding around. Above all, her family was her most precious treasure. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow at Nichols Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
