Ronald Ray Nash, 70, of Osceola, Arkansas, formerly of Lepanto, Arkansas. Departed this life on Monday, September 8, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 29, 1954 in Lepanto, Arkansas to John Nash and Lucille Carson.
Ronnie lived a life full of laughter, kindness, and love for his family and friends. Known for his cooking, he often said he was happiest when everyone else was happy. His specialties were beans, taters, and cornbread, as well as frying fish. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting deer, catching crappie, and taking rides out to the river. A proud Arkansas Razorback fan, he also treasured time spent sitting around with friends, swapping stories and sharing laughter. In his younger years, he played football at Lepanto High School, and in his later years, his greatest pride was his grandchildren. He loved picking on them, watching them play, and giving the nickname “Crickett” to Kailey, which he said was little and loud, and by teasing Roy and Austin by telling them they could tear up a steely ball. He had a heart for children everywhere, often buying cheeseburgers to pass out to kids in the neighborhood. He shared a special bond with his fur baby and best friend, Diesel, wherever he was, Diesel was close by, and he always made sure if he ate, Diesel ate too. Above all, he loved his family deeply. Ronnie lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gary Nash and Stanley Nash, two sisters: Diane Warren and Johnnie Lou Pike, two brother in laws: Larry Warren and Kuhron Huddleston, one nephew: Neal Nash and one niece: Angela Clark.
Ronnie is survived by two daughters: Misty Johnson of Osceola, Arkansas and Kristy Manuel (Billy) of Monette, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Roy Johnson III (Sunny) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Kailey Moore (Gavin) of Manila, Arkansas ad Austin Manuel (Briley) of Armorel, Arkansas, five great grandchildren: Harlee Johnson, Malayia Johnson, Hudson Nash Carter, Wrenley Jo Evans, Ayla Manuel and his fur baby: Diesel..
