Roger Dale Shinall, Sr., 65, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed from this life on January 9, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 21, 1950 in Dyess, Arkansas to Ivan Lee and Fannie Idel Garling Shinall. He was former Chief of Police for the Lepanto Police Department, Owner of O&R Trucking, Chief Deputy of Poinsett County and a "Great Pepaw" to his only Grandson, Connor.
Mr. Shinall is preceded in death by his parents.
Roger is survived by his wife: Opal Tuggle Shinall of the home, Son: Roger "Dale" Shinall Jr. (Jana) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brother: Gene Shinall of Mississippi and Grandson: Connor Shinall
The family will receive visitors Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 at The Lepanto Assembly of God Church.
No funeral services will be scheduled.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to The Lepanto Assembly of God Church.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto in charge of arrangements.
