Raymond Ervin Holleman

Raymond Ervin Holleman, 80, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on December 23, 1945, to Ferdinando Desoto and Ruthie Mae Fortner Holleman. Raymond was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ, graduate from Missco and worked more than forty years at American Greetings. He made duck calls, woodwork and repaired small engines. Raymond never met a stranger, he loved taking care of others and taking care of animals.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ferdinando and Ruthie Holleman, one brother: Robert Holleman and two sisters: Tiny Mae Brown and Johnnie Mae Davis.

Raymond is survived by his wife of sixty years: Joyce Holleman of Lepanto, one son: Raymond Holleman Jr. (Tina) of The Woodlands, Texas, three daughters: Cathy Hale (Michael) of Lepanto, Carey Smith (Danny) of Lepanto and Caron Worsham (Jamie) of Lepanto, one brother: John Holleman of Hardy, one sister: Bonnie Nichols of Keiser, eight grandchildren: Haley, Hillary, Chandler, Olivia, Anna Claire, Jackson, Cayden and Kennedy, twelve great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lepanto, with Brother Eldron Gill and Brother R.J. Platz officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday, from 10:00a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
