Randy Shinabery, 69 of Marked Tree, AR, was born in Memphis, TN on January 17, 1951 and went to live with his Holy Father on December 5, 2020.
Randy graduated from Marked Tree High School in 1969. Randy attended the University of Notre Dame and Arkansas State University. In 1974, Randy graduated from the University of Tennessee with a pharmaceutical degree. Randy worked as a Pharmacist in his family pharmacy, the Nyal Drug Store for over 40 years.
Randy was an avid hunter and a member of the Marked Tree Hunting Club and Tyronza Hunting Club. Randy used to be a very avid golfer. He was also a lifelong member of St. Norbert’s Catholic Church.
Randy was a very rare person. Saying he loved his family is quite an understatement. He loved his church and community. Randy always saw the good in people. If it was not kind, he left it alone. If Randy was a part of it, it would be honorable and enjoyable. He loved his wife, Becky, so dearly. They didn’t just live together, they worked together, played together and enjoyed all of their family to be together with them. He loved his children and REALLY LOVED HIS GRANDDAUGHTERS. His kids and grandkids were instilled with respect, kindness, manners, Godliness, and motivation to do their best in the classroom, on the sports fields or any activities they were in. Randy was always a breath of fresh air in what could have been otherwise a bad day. We need more people like him in this world.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents E. L and Marie Shinabery and his other parents R. D. and Hilda Gill. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of over 50 years, Becky, his 3 children Lee (Kerri) Shinabery, Stephanie Shinabery, Gill (Cari) Shinabery and his 5 granddaughter Ashlee, Allison, McKenzie, Alexa and Anna Shinabery. He was also survived by his four siblings Dale (Gary) Farris, Vinson Shinabery, Mark (Dede) Shinabery and Lee Shinabery, along with a host of other family and friends.
