Oma Lee (May) Armstrong

Oma Lee (May) Armstrong, 88, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on August 5, 2022 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born on July 22, 1934 in Lepanto, Arkansas to B.F. and Lucinda Mills May.  She was of the Baptist faith and loved crocheting, camping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Pamela Herman and one sister: Ollie Mote.

Oma Lee is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years: Burl “Dude” Armstrong, Sr. of the home, two sons: Burl Armstrong, Jr. and wife Cecelia of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Steven Armstrong of Lepanto, Arkansas, one sister: Bobbie Conner of Jonesboro, Arkansas, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow funeral service in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
