Nola Tacker

September 27, 1939 — October 2, 2020

Nola Dean Tacker, 81, of Heavener, Oklahoma departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2020 in Heavener, Oklahoma.  She was born on September 27, 1939 to Nolon Hosea and Sibyl Susie Vaughn Brown. Nola was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church; she was an all-state basketball player, and she was an incredibly good cook.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, sports and loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Earl K. Tacker, parents, three brothers: Walter Brown, Kenneth Brown, and Frankie Brown and one granddaughter: Nola Jarrett.

Nola is survived by her two sons: Jeff Tacker (Christy) of Tyronza, Arkansas and John Masterson (Rita) of Enola, Arkansas, two daughters: Dottie Thomas (Tim) of Heavener, Oklahoma and Connie Jarrett of Heavener, Oklahoma, one sister: Shelby Jean Clark of Memphis, Tennessee, thirteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00a.m. at Tyronza First Baptist Church in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00a.m. until service time.

Interment will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Due to COVID-19 mask must be worn at all times during the service.  You must provide your own mask.  Arkansas Department of Health requires everyone who is attending services must sign the contact tracing form.  The Funeral Home Staff will oversee to make sure these guidelines are followed.   Thank you for your cooperation.
