Mildred Pauline Burns, 82, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life, Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Jonesboro, AR.  She was born on June 30, 1938 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Charlie and Pauline O’dell Stracener.

She was as member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Floral, Arkansas.  She loved gardening, especially her roses, riding motorcycles and loved mowing the yard; She said this was her peacetime, and loved her kids, especially her grandchildren.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Don, Pete, Larry and Frank Stracener.

She  is survived by her son: Jim Milam (Cindy Pufahl) of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, daughter: Teresa Hood (Mike) of Tyronza, Arkansas, two brothers: Bill Stracener of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Danny Stracener of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, two sisters: Joyce of Texas and Judy Dulaney of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and James Milam, the father of her children of Payneway, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm and Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  Interment will follow service at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.  Brother Eldron Gill and Brother Billy Hood will be officiating the service.

Due to COVID-19, mask are required at all times.  You must provide your own mask.
