Maxine Courtney

Maxine Courtney, 81, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born on December 23, 1939 to Murry Brown and Lithia Elizabeth West Moore.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Sam Courtney, parents, one son: James Scarbrough, one daughter: Briggitte Annette Scarbrough, one brother: Murry and four sisters: Christine, Velma, Bobbie and Josephine.

Maxine is survived by her four grandchildren: Sheena Riney (James) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Steve Gann (Crystal) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Stephanie Sawyer (Allen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Logan Gann of Jonesboro, Arkansas and eight great grandchildren: Austin Sawyer, Tyler Sawyer, Erin Riney, Lia Riney, Lyric Riney, Noah Gann, Parker Gann and Trey Cluckey.

There will not be any services held at this time.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
