Lt. McKinness

Lt. Brent Lee McKinness, 41, of Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life Saturday, June 25,2016. He was born on March 14, 1975 to Elmo and Angela Tyler McKinness. He was a Lieutenant Firefighter/Paramedic for The Memphis Fire Department. He was a 1993 East Poinsett County High School graduate, earned his Paramedic at the age of 18, a member of Tennessee Task Force One and a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. He also was a former board member of Special Kids and Family in Memphis, Tennessee. His hobbies include SCUBA diving where he was a Dive Master, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Angel Elliott McKinness of Memphis, Tennessee, Son: Ethan Eli McKinness of Memphis,Tennessee, Daughter: Kaitlyn Elizabeth McKinness of Memphis,Tennessee, Parents: Elmo and Angela McKinness of Lepanto, Arkansas and Brother: John Elmo McKinness (Kimberly) of West Memphis, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00am at Ridgeway Baptist Church 2500 Ridgeway Road Memphis, Tennessee 38119.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 3:00pm at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
