Larry Wayne Deeds passed from this life into his eternal father's heavenly hands on July 28, 2025. Larry had a host of loving witnesses to his passing. He is joining his mother, Wanda, father Junior, brothers Timmy and Ricky Deeds, and sister in law, Tina Deeds. He leaves this world to his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Ann Deeds. His children, Robbie Betts (Tammy) of Lepanto, Richard Bowman (Tina) of Hot Springs, Regina Kellie Allen (Tim Malone) of Lepanto, and Rodney Bowman of Dallas, Texas. His sisters, Gail Long of Manila, Penny (Bobby) Tate of Manila, and Patsy (Jeff) Wilson of Manila. He is remembered as Pawran by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry created a career as an electrician at South Wire and retired after 40 years. He spent his Sundays and Wednesdays as a Sunday school teacher at Calvary Baptist Church in Lepanto. One of Larry's greatest joys was camping at Devils Fork Campground, where he created countless cherished memories with friends and family. A dedicated member of the Lepanto community, he spent 35 years helping organize the town's Christmas parade and designing festive floats. Those who knew Larry knew him as a kind, quiet man-a natural problem solver with a deep knowledge of technology, mechanics, and building. Together with Mary Ann, he lovingly restored their home on Thelma Street, installing wood floors and creating a warm, welcoming space for their family. He cared for his wife and her many hobbies. He enjoyed his momma's fried potato's while visiting Lost Cane, his childhood home. At any church gathering, you would have found him bringing his pecan pies and peach cobblers. Guiding the celebration of life is Pastor Larry Ring. Larry's life will be honored at Calvary Baptist Church in Lepanto. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the funeral will begin at 2:00 pm on July 30, 2025. His earthly body will be laid to rest at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
