Johnny Edsel Smith, 81, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Lepanto, Arkansas. He was born on October 14, 1934 to Elbert and Ruby May Smith.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents, son: Gary Smith, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Doris V. Smith of Lepanto, Arkansas, 2 sons: Ricky Smith (June) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Ronnie Smith (Lillie Ann) of Lepanto, Arkansas, sister: Roberta Brewer of West Memphis, Arkansas, 4 grandchildren: Autumn Chipman (Seth), Barbara Salinas (Luis), Joshua Smith and Matthew Smith (Jessica) and 2 great grandchildren: Johannah and Asher Salinas.
Visitation will be held Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Graveside Service will be held Friday at 2:00 at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto in charge of arrangements.
