John Ricks

John Ricks, 65, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday January 7, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 3, 1950 to Issac and Maudie Barton Ricks. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran; he was a member of the Rivervale Baptist Church and loved teaching Sunday school. He was an amazing husband, dad and papa and he loved to joke around.
Mr. Ricks is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Cherie Lynn Ricks Scrivner and 3 Brothers: Wayne Ricks, Billy Ricks and Dowell Ricks.
John is survived by his wife of 44 years Geraldine Ricks of Lepanto, Arkansas, Son: Jeremy Ricks (Vicki) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, 2 Brothers: Robert Ricks and Douglas Ricks, Sister: Margaret Willoughby and 3 Grandchildren: Lane Scrivner, Amelia Ricks and Logan Ricks.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Rivervale Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors from 12:30 till service time at the church.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
