John Austin

John E. Austin, 67, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, November 11, 2017.  He was born on December 21, 1949 to Billy and Peggy Austin.  John enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and brother: Craig Austin.

John is survived by his mother: Peggy Austin of Lepanto, son: John Austin (Phyllis) of Lepanto, daughter: Leeann Thompson (Shawn) of Lepanto, three brothers: Billy Austin of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Maxey Austin of Dyess and James Austin of Texarkana, three sisters: Sheila Tricarico of Lenexa, Kansas and Peggy Delores Permenter of Tyronza, and Ronnie Driskell of Luxora, five grandchildren: Kayla Stiles, Erin Austin, Hannah Tucker, Hailey Thompson and Madeline Thompson and two great grandchildren: Gunner Stiles and Luke Austin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00am at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Burial will be held at 12:00 at The Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas.
