Jerrel Wayne Watters, 79, of Marion, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on October 14, 1946, in Lepanto, Arkansas to D.D. Watters and Vera Carroll Watters. Jerrell loved being outdoors, riding his golf cart, loved animals, especially his grand dog Girly Girl and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: D.D. “Buddy” and Vera Watters.

Jerrel is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda McKay Watters of the home, one son: Tab Watters (Debbie) of Lakeland, Tennessee, two grandchildren: Ashley Watters of Lakeland, Tennessee and Drake Watters (Chloe) of Meridian, Idaho, brother in law Danny McKay (Marie) of Marion, sister in law: Cheryl Johnson (Rick) of Marion, nephews: Eric McKay of Marion and Shane Pickard of Marion, nieces: Fallon Wyatt (Jared) of Marion and Shannon Pickard of West Memphis and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:30p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
