Jerome "Unc" Michael Williams, Jr.

Jerome “Unc” Michael Williams, Jr. was born to the union of Jerome Michael, Sr. and Mary Buchanan Williams on January 7, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois.  He accepted Christ at an early age in Chicago, Illinois and rededicated his life back to Christ in Trumann, Arkansas.  He loved music and to dance, even though he had no rhythm and he couldn’t keep a beat. He had a passion for fishing, playing cards (although he cheated with a smile) and chess.

He is preceded in death by his father: Jerome Williams, Sr, and one brother: Alfonza Brewer.

Jerome said good-bye to his earthly life on Friday, October 27, 2023.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Mary Williams of Chicago, Illinois,  Alfonza (Pops) Benson of Chicago, Illinois, one son: Jerome Michael Williams, III of Trumann, Arkansas, three daughters: Desiree McConkey (Micah) of Malvern, Arkansas, Destiny Broughton of Malvern, Arkansas and De`ja Williams of Safe Haven, Arkansas, one brother: James Buchanan (Brenda) of Chicago, Illinois, one sister: Sarah Brewer of Lepanto, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Kennedy Broughton, Alayna McConkey and Mina McConkey, one aunt: Bernice Brewer of Trumann, Arkansas, two uncles: William Brewer of Chicago, Illinois and Leon Shinall of Trumann, Arkansas, a special cousin: Marquisha Mohead (Myron)  of McKinney, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Interment will follow funeral service in Pine Rest Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas

Reverend John Booker will officiate the service.

The repast will be held after the interment at the Legion Hut in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.
