Jerome “Jerry” Phillips, 70, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Friday December 5, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1955 to Joseph Kermit Phillips and Bessie Cockrum Phillips in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Jerry was a member of Rivervale Baptist Church. He always enjoyed the church dinners and fellowship. He was a hard worker and loved working in the yard and growing his vegetable garden. He and his wife Joanie loved to travel, they visited the Smokies, the Carolinas, Alabama where they toured the Nasa Space Center, and they always enjoyed traveling to Michigan to visit family. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Dorthy Haye and Mickey Holland, two brothers: Carl Phillips and James Leroy Phillips.
Jerry is survived by his wife of twenty-four years: Joanie Phillips of the home, daughter: Cindy Pollard of Monette, Arkansas, sister: Mary Coats of Watson, Arkansas, grandson: Kyle Jeffers (Amy) of Caraway, Arkansas, three great grandchildren: Mason, Madalyn and Remmington and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Brother Steven Sanders will officiate the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto.
