Janice Lea Orr

Janice Lea Orr, 68, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on February 26, 2024. She was born on October, 20, 1955 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Gerald Dean Burns and Margie Beatrice Burns Copeland.

She is preceded in death by her father: Gerald Burns.

Janice is survived by her husband: Edward Franklin “Buster” Orr, her mother: Margie Halk Copeland of Mountain View, Arkansas, one son: Mark Orr (Maquita) of West Union, South Carolina, two daughters: Sherry Ann Burns Hufstedler (Farris) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Lisa Orr Biggers of Wahalla, South Carolina, one brother: David Burns of Mountain View, Arkansas, five grandchildren: Elizabeth Moss (Cody), Jessica Henninger, Hannah Kerr (Cameron), Zach Biggers and Samantha Swindle (Craig), eleven great grandchildren: McKenzie, Logan, Colton and Lucas Moss, Hunter and Reece Henninger, Presley and Charlie Kerr,  Emma, Paxton and Christopher Swanner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024 at 10:00 A.m. at Community of Christ Church, 919 E. Highland, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Reverand Dr. Ademola Sodeinde will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Neighbors Food Pantry, 501 W. Highland Dr. Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
