James Lassiter

James Clay “JC” Lassiter, 81, of Trumann, Arkansas formerly of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on June 29, 1939 to Oscar Edward and Beulah Bell Lassiter in Lepanto, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Shirley Lassiter, one brother: Edward Leon “Jack” Lassiter and one sister: Nellie Jo Lassiter.

JC is survived by his church family and several other friends that he considered family.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
