James “Jamie” (Bruno) Edward Wray, III departed this life unexpectantly on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Payneway, Arkansas. James was born on December 3, 1972, in West Memphis, Arkansas to his parents Brenda McDonald Waits and Eddie Wray.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: E.V. (Bugs) and Johnnie McDonald of Marked Tree, Arkansas and James Ed and Loudene Wray of Payneway, Arkansas.

James is survived by his mother: Brenda (Charles) Waits of North Port, Florida, and his father: Eddie (Annette) Wray of Payneway, Arkansas. He also leaves behind three siblings: Stephen (Courtney) Wray of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Ashley (Doug) Ferris of Pasco, Washington, and James (Natalie) Wray of Jonesboro, Arkansas, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
