Jacob Matthew Turner

Jacob Matthew Turner, 31, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday January 11, 2024 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on November 23, 1992 to Jerry and Carolyn Garey Turner in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Jacob attended New Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Dyess and loved watching his kindle, Anime, milk shakes from the Sonic and Amazon.   He enjoyed playing with his nephews, spending time and wrestling with Philip.  Philip never left Jacobs side while he was in the hospital.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Jacob is survived by his father: Jerry Turner of Memphis, Tennessee, one brother: Philip Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas and one sister: Angel Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas, nephews: Rio Richardson and Kelvin Hale, great nephews: Aiden Richardson and Damian Hale, cousin: Reanna Brock, special friends: Jodi McFerrin and Jessica Jones and very special caregiver: Betty Dixon.

 The funeral will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto.
