Hector Carmelo Cruz Ramirez

Hector Carmelo Cruz Ramirez, 62, of Dyess, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2026. He was born on July 16, 1963, to Gregorio Cruz and Juventina Ramirez in Totolcingo, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Jose Guadalupe.

Hector is survived by his wife of forty-four years: Maria Guevara of the home, four children: Janet Cruz (Ricardo) of Mexico, Viviana Cruz (Alfredo) of Dyess, Arkansas, Hector Cruz of Dyess, Arkansas, and Alina Cruz (Phillip) of Dyess, Arkansas, three brothers: Miguel Cruz, Angel Cruz and Armando Cruz, three sisters: Herminia Cruz, Olga Cruz, and Veronica Cruz.

Funeral Services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. til service time.

Burial will be held at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Brother Greg Smith will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.
