Harold Douglas Kirk, age 82, of Tyronza, AR passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 15th, 2026 in Jonesboro, AR. He was born to Woodrow and Mildred Bell Kirk on May 25th, 1944. He spent 55 years working as a professional semi-truck driver, was a veteran of the United States Air Force, an active member of the American Legion, and a faithful member of Broadway St. church of Christ.
He enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved wife and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who he loved dearly. He was an avid animal lover and volunteered his time at the Marked Tree Animal Rescue driving cross country to deliver dogs and cats to their new homes.
He will always be remembered for his kindness, willingness to help those in need, and the love he had for God, his family, friends, and community.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Sonny Kirk, and sisters Patsy Kirk Fletcher and Shelby Kirk Gorbey.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Freda Ursery Kirk, daughters Carissa (Steve) Griffin and Jeannie (Gary) Williams, grandchildren Steven (Anna Faith) Griffin, Anna Claire (Robbie) Sullivan, Connor Williams, Cooper Williams, great grandchildren Katie Griffin and Sloane Sullivan, sister Linda (Nolan) Kirk Knapp and brother Jessie (Lisa) Kirk, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that love and will miss him dearly.
