Gladys Viola Franklin

Gladys Viola Franklin, 85, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 18, 1941, in Etowah, Arkansas to Eugene and Fanny Gill Case.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Fanny Case.

Gladys is survived by her husband if sixty-eight years: John P. Franklin of Marked Tree, one son: Danny Franklin (Joy) of Hickory Withe, Tennessee, three grandchildren: Daniel Franklin (Chesa) of Oakland, Tennessee, Nicole Franklin Cathey (Russell) of Arlington, Tennessee and Christopher Franklin (Ainslie) of Collierville, Tennessee, five great grandchildren: Kaylee Franklin, Aiden Cathey, Zoe Cathey, Brody Franklin and Addi Kate Franklin, one brother: Travis Case of Bald Knob and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
