Gary L Wagers

Gary L. Wagers, 74, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on May 31, 1951 to James and Sarah Ann Waters Wagers.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Judy Wagers, his parents, granddaughter: Tiffany Shempert, one brother, nine sisters, and one daughter-in-law: Brandi Wagers .

Gary is survived by one son: Gary D. Wagers of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, one daughter: Julie Beights (Kenney) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one sister: Sheila Follette (J.R.) of Joiner, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Derek Shempert and Serenity Fine and two great grandchildren: Lakelynn Slaughter, and Alora Slaughter.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Dyess Cemetery, Dyess, Arkansas on Saturday April 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
