Garth Ray Chase, 70, of Trumann, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on August 29, 1954 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Ernest Ray Chase and Trubelle Collie.
Garth was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and had a passion for drag racing, especially trips to George Ray’s Drag Strip. He and his son-in-law Shane Taylor shared a special bond and Garth considered him a son. His faithful dog: Banjo, was always by his side, fiercely protective of him. Time spent with his family was special to Garth and he found great joy is spending time with his grandsons. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, and one brother: Johnny Wood
Garth is survived by wife, his high school sweetheart: Connie Chase of the home, his mother: Trubelle Collie of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one son: Shane Chase of Lepanto, Arkansas and one daughter: Canesa Taylor (Shane) of Lepanto, Arkansas, three grandsons: Isaiah, Courage and Zac, two great grandsons: Brewer and Ronan five siblings: Gregg, Cheryl, Bonnie, Debbie and Diane, and his faithful dog: Banjo.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
