Freddie Scott

Freddie Jo Scott, 92 of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born in Wynne, Arkansas on January 6, 1928 to Vernon and Lucille Evans Clay.Freddie was a member of The Church of God in Christ on Fisher Street in Jonesboro, Arkansas, under Bishop Matthew Lloyd. Freddie retired from General Electric in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She loved the Lord and was a wonderful Christian lady.  She was a wonderful mother, the best in the world.

She is preceded in death by her parents: two daughters: Lonnie Ivory and Dana Anita Sinks, three sons: Richard Allen Sinks, Johnny Lee Sinks and Leonard Holloway, two grandchildren: Rico Sinks and Annjanette Ivory, and one sister: Lillie May Hughes Seabron.

Freddie is survived by her two sons: Freddy “Teddy” (Sandra) Sinks of Charleston, South Carolina and Walter Preston (Lena)  Sinks of Great Falls, Montana, one daughter in law: Marie Sinks ( Richard deceased) one brother: Richard Clay (Lena) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, six grandchildren: Ebony Sinks of Chicago, Illinois, Zakia Sinks of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Anthony Ivory of San Diego, California, Gwen Ivory of San Diego, California, Alan Sinks of Santa Cruz, California, Olivia Renea Sinks of Dallas, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at10:00 am at Grace Memorial Garden 2109 W. Matthews Ave. Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home,

Marked Tree, Arkansas.
