Along with two granddaughters Brandy Westbrook of Festus, Missouri and Megan Zurliene (Anthony Earll) of Seattle, Washington, and one great granddaughter Jemma James Earll. She was dearly remembered and loved by countless friends and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Hoyt and Louise Oakes, youngest sister: Tonnie Oakes and her husband: Roy W. Tennal.
Olean used her life to serve God and others. She worked as a waitress until she had to medically retire. She loved having fun and laughing. She was a great seamstress, even on the dog’s toys. Olean loved to cook good country food and loved to get dressed up and go to nice dinners, always with white table cloths, she said it made her feel special, and she was always special. She greatly enjoyed helping with church functions and truly loved her senior services. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family no matter what it was. All that knew and loved her will remember her brilliant smile and loving touch and prayers. A friend once asked, please have your mom pray for me, she has a direct line to God.
