Dena Lee Skipper

Dena Lee Skipper, 63, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was born on December 10, 1962, in Osceola to Billy Joe Peridore and Mary Bell McClain Peridore.

Dena was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lepanto Fire Department Fireflies. She found joy in the simple things in life like fishing, vacationing on the beach, exploring flea markets, junk stores, and baking. Family was important to Dena, especially spoiling her grandchildren who held a very special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her father: Billy Joe Peridore, two grandsons: Grayson Hill and Evan Wilson, and one nephew: Kevin Allen Peridore.

Dena is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years: Rickey Skipper of the home, mother: Mary Peridore of Lepanto, three daughters: Whitney Miller (Jeremy) of Black Oak, Amy Harvey (Chester) of Lepanto, Katie Skipper (Logan) of Harrisburg, one brother: David Joe Peridore of Tyronza, one sister: Terri McDaniel of Marked Tree, and eight grandchildren: Emma, Carlee, Elle, Maggie, Cason, Kaylee, Willow and Leighton.

A funeral service will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. til service time.

Burial will be in private
