Charles Hardesty (76) passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John George & Lorene Hardesty, brothers, Billy Joe Hardesty, Woodrow Hardesty, Vernon Hardesty, and sister, Barbara Scrivner-Wallace.
A lifelong resident of Mississippi county, Charles proudly served his country during the Vietnam war. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He loved the Lord and his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Donna, and their children, Laurie (Danny) Moore of Blytheville, Chris (Lina) Hardesty of Sandy Springs, GA, Elizabeth (Clint) Colley of Kalispell, MT and daughter-in-law, Karen Hardesty of Osceola.
He took great joy in being “Papaw” to his grandchildren, Anna Harris of Hardinsburg, KY, Kaitlyn (Steven) Richardson of Huron, TN, Shawn (Jeadline) Hardesty of Jonesboro, GA, Kylee Hardesty of Osceola, Mac Colley of Kalispell, MT and great-granddaughter Tara (Ty) Ketchum of Blytheville.
Charles is also survived by his brother, James (Rosa) Hardesty of Columbus, NE and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Connie Ash and Karen Crane.
