Cecil Jones

Cecil Jones, 78, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.  He was born on October 9, 1939 to Wilmer H. and Ethel Drennen Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter: Tammy Owens, one brother: Stanley Jones, four sisters: Opal Cockrell, Wanda Weaver, Lula Davis and Patricia Gail Griggs and one granddaughter: Shameika Ellison.

Cecil is survived by one daughter: Tina Stafford of Mulberry, Florida, two brothers: Buddy Jones of Lepanto and Oran Jones of Warrenton, Missouri, five sisters: Heidi Gilbert of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Wilma Evans Walchula, Florida, Martha Sue Evan of Walchula, Florida, Doris Shipman of Marked Tree and Evonne Harrison of Chenoa, Illinois, two grandchildren: Cecil Lung of Dyess and Sieara Lung of Mulberry, Florida and one great grandchild.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
