Carolyn Whitman

Carolyn Sue Whitman, 74, of Trumann, Arkansas departed this life on August 7, 2017.  She was born on April 3, 1943 to Arthur Lee and Octavia Marie Cassidy Wells.  Carolyn was a member of Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Arthur Lee “Hoot” Wells and Lee J. “Smokey” Wells and a sister: Kathryn “Kitty” Maxwell.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 55 years: Barnie Whitman of the home, three daughters: Cyndi Bond (Kevin) of Monette, Arkansas, Christy Murphy (Randy) of West Memphis, Arkansas and Wendy Whitman of Thayer, Missouri, three brothers: Brad Wells, John Wells and Phil Wells, three sisters: Alma Alinder, Loretta “Dinker” Gordon and Connie Kmetz, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00am at Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Arkansas.
