Carolyn Sue Maddox, 77, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her home. She was born on August 30, 1948, in Osceola, Arkansas to Robert and Mary Thompson Collins. Carolyn was a member of the Etowah Pentecostal Church of God, she enjoyed talking on her phone (landline), watching movies with Christy and Bingo. Carolyn loved her kids, grandkids, and family, she loved unconditionally.
She is preceded in death by her husband: William Cloys Maddox, one son: William Lee Maddox, one daughter: Amanda Renee Maddox, one grandson: Jacob Lee Maddox and two brothers: Doug Collins and Ricky Collins.
Carolyn is survived by four daughters: Jennifer Maddox of Lepanto, Christy Maddox (Rafael Sanchez) of Lepanto, Samantha Anguiano (Avery Stephens) and April Galvan (Jose Sr.) of Lepanto, four brothers: Jerry Collins (Mildred) of Caraway, Bobby Collins of West Ridge, Gene Collins (Rose) of Marked Tree and William Collins of Lepanto, three sisters: Ruth Trent (Alvin) of Marion, Dora Johnson of Lepanto and Jo Ellen Yancy (Wesley) of Etowah, thirteen grandchildren: Mary Maddox, Zachary Jose Maddox (Julia), Zachary Gunner Lee Maddox (Anna), Leo Anguiano (Katie), Julianne Herrera (Braden), Madelyn Anguiano (Brandon), Heather Herrera, Jose Galvan Jr. (Alexia), Michael Collins (Chloe), Hannah Maddox, Chloe Stephens, Amanda Douglass and Julia Sandoval, eight great grandchildren: Sloane, Lincoln, Lyla, Matteo, Theo, Lexi, Rowyn Bear, Sammy, one great grandchild on the way: Scarlett, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Etowah Pentecostal Church of God in Etowah.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
