Carolyn Marie East

Carolyn Marie East, 88, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on January 26, 2024 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born on January 11, 1936 in Tyronza, Arkansas to William Raines Sr. and Margaret Downs East.  She was a member of God’s Grace Ministries, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, working and providing for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Lesa Marie Watson, two brothers: William Raines Jr. and Harry Delano East and one sister: Jean East Timbs.

Carolyn is survived by one brother: Eric Alec East and Gloria of Concord, Virginia, four grandchildren: Nikki Wiggins and Josh of Lepanto, Arkansas, David Watson of Earle, Arkansas, Hannah Watson of Earle, Arkansas and Bert Watson and Kacie of Crawfordsville, Arkansas, nine great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
