Carline Virginia Roark

Carline Virginia Roark, 93, of Lepanto, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at her residence. Carline was born on August 20, 1932, in Manila, Arkansas, to Carl Freeman and Callie Rollins Freeman. She attended the Etowah Pentecostal Church of God for 40 years. Carline was a caregiver to everyone she met. She was a loving mother and nanny to all her grandchildren and was dearly loved by all who knew her.

Carline is survived by her son, Gary George (Dianne) of Newport, Arkansas; stepsons, Gary Roark of Keiser, Arkansas, and Clifford Roark of Lepanto, Arkansas; sisters, Shirley Adams of Manila, Arkansas, Betty Rogers of Lepanto, Arkansas, and Diane Riley (Cecil) of Monette, Arkansas; son-in-law, Skeeter Rash of Lepanto, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Mary George of Lepanto, Arkansas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and one beloved fur baby, Mitzi.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Junior George and Herman Roark; one son, Jimmy George; one daughter, Donna Rash; brothers, Bobby Freeman, Sonny Freeman, and Jim Freeman; and one sister, Bonnie Hobbs.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home.
