Camilla "Sis" Clay Battles

Camilla “Sis” Clay Battles, 79, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Etowah Arkansas departed this life on November 6, 2019 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. .  She was born on September 26, 1940 to Norman V. and Frances Eual Dodd Clay.  She was member of Lepanto United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the Garden Point Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, bookkeeper at Belks in Osceola and was the bookkeeper and sales lady at Garden Point Antiques.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Carl Don Battles, Jr. and Clay Brewer, 1 daughter: Lisa Battles and 1 brother: Norman Clay.
Sis is survived by 2 daughters: Carla “Donna” Besinger (Jimmy) and Patti Wicklund both of Jonesboro, Arkansas, 1 sister: Pat Adams of Wilson, Arkansas, 9 Grandchildren: Cameron Pryor, Skylar Brewer, Dana Battles, Philip Oatsvall, Megan McGinnis, Annah Battles, Hunter Brumley, Cassidy Allison and Wesley Weathers, 11 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 09, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time.
Interment will follow at Garden Point Cemetery.
