Bud Fires, 77, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday January 14, 2016 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on June 13, 1938 to William Ray and Edith Roie Beatty Fires.
Mr. Fires is preceded in death by his parents, brother: Robert Henry Fires and 3 Sister: Mavis Dimpise, Carolyn Fires and Roberta Parker.
Bud is survived by his wife of 31 years: Dorothy Mae (Stone) Fires, 3 Sons: David Merrell Fires (Rita) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Eric McGhee (Denise) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Clayton McGhee (Brittany) of Lepanto, Arkansas, Daughter: Rhonda Gail Ecrement (Terry) of Bartlett,Tennessee, and 2 Grandchildren: Mikayla McGhee and Tailyn Goss.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
