Brittany Gordon

September 15, 1985 — November 8, 2020

Brittany Gean Gordon went home to Jesus on November 8, 2020. Though she only walked this earth a short 35 years, her life made an impact that will last an eternity.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Alfred and Mary Simpson and Onie and Henrietta Gean and one nephew: Benjamin Luke Gordon.

Brittany is survived by her husband: Jeremy Gordon of Lepanto, Arkansas, two sons: Trevor and Cayson Gordon of Lepanto, Arkansas, parents: Donnie and Charlotte Simpson Gean of Tyronza, Arkansas, one brother: Cameron (Madison) Gean of Tyronza, Arkansas, one half-brother: Jason Gean of Bentonville, Arkansas, in laws: Matt and Rhonda Sanders, and John Michael and Debra Gordon, grandparents: Harold and Dean Tyler, two brother in laws: Michael (Mandy) Gordon and Ben (Hailey) Gordon, eight nieces and nephews: Whitten, Abigail, Kati Wren, Madison, Kyler, Keragan, Lynlee and Sadie and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

On September 15, 1985 Donnie and Charlotte Gean welcome their beautiful Brittany. She was their pride and joy and filled their lives with love and laughter. Brittany had an older brother, Jason, and was a proud big sister to her brother, Cameron. Brittany had a magnetic personality that drew others to her throughout high school at EPC. When she wasn’t on the sidelines cheering for the Warriors, she could be found cheering for, uplifting, and encouraging those she loved.

In 2007, Brittany married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Jeremy Gordon. Together they built a beautiful life. Their family was made complete with two perfect little boys. Trevor, Brittany‘s firstborn, has always been her special child. They share the love of singing, worship, and Disney. Cayson is her baby, the one she snuggled every night, and shares her loud and outgoing personality. Brittany was a devoted, loving wife and mother who filled their home with memories, laughter, and faith in Jesus.

After receiving her nursing degree a decade ago, Brittany has brought joy to many coworkers and patients through her work at Crittenton Memorial Hospital, NEA Ortho, Manila Nursing Home, and Elite home health. Brittany was currently employed as the school nurse at the EPC Tyronza Elementary school. Whether it was singing down the halls, nurturing the students, or playing tricks on her coworkers she was continually spreading the love of Jesus.

Brittany’s relationship with her Savior infiltrated every aspect of her life. Bible study, prayers, and worship were paramount in the walls of the Gordon home and at Mamaw and Papaw’s all because of her passion for Christ- a passion so strong it radiated to everyone she encountered. Brittany devoted countless time and energy toward the children’s ministries at First Baptist Church Lepanto and brought hope to adults and children alike with her bright smile, positive outlook, and words of praise.

Though Brittany has completed her work on earth, we are certain her Christ-centered life will continue to lead many others to salvation. If you would like to have a relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ, as Brittany did please reach out to her Pastor Kyle Rhea or any of her church family.
