Brenda Mae Stracener

Brenda Mae Stracener, 74, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on May 13, 1947 to Son and Ludie Brown Saddler. She retired from Marked Tree School District and was a 1965 Marked Tree graduate.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Johnnie, Joel, and Billy Saddler.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years: Charles (Bill) Stracener of Marked Tree, two daughters: Marci Stracener of Germantown, Tennessee and Kellie Ashlock (Ford) of Marked Tree, four grandchildren who were the joys of her life: Ty Hensley, Morgan Hensley, Gavin Ashlock and Hudson Ashlock, her loving twin: Linda Saddler Teague (Tommy) of Black Oak and several nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Black Oak Baptist Church in the Black Oak community, south of Marked Tree. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
