Alex Benton

Alex Connor Benton, 16, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on, Friday, May 26, 2017. He was born on July 31, 2000 to Wesley Benton, Sr. and Brooke Phillips. He attended The First Baptist Church in Lepanto, played football at EPC and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, basketball, riding the levee with his brother and anything outside.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: C.A. Wilson Jr, Norma Wilson, Irene Tyler and James Wesley Benton Sr. and uncle: Waylon Kyle Benton.
Alex is survived by his mother: Brooke Phillips (Don Hickman) of Marion, Arkansas, father: Wesley Carl Benton Sr. of Lepanto, Arkansas, three siblings: Wesley Carl Benton Jr. of Lepanto, Arkansas, Courtney LeeAnn Benton of Lepanto, Arkansas and James Carlton Benton of Lepanto, Arkansas, maternal grandparents: Kenny Phillips and Dana Green both of Marked Tree, Arkansas, paternal grandparents: James "Junior" and Sandra Benton of Lepanto, Arkansas, great grandparents: Paul and Betty Phillips of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Peggy Benton of Lepanto, Arkansas, uncles: Kenneth Paul Phillips II of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Robert Brown of Paragould, Arkansas, aunts: Corey Brown of Paragould, Arkansas and Chelsea Phillips of Marked Tree, Arkansas and cousins: Claire Brown and Carmyn Brown both of Paragould, Arkansas and Jasper Phillips of Sheridan, Arkansas.
