Yolen Juanita Kee, 93, of Marked Tree, departed this life on Friday, November 01, 2019 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on October 13, 1926 to Fletcher and Effie Mae Redd Bogard.
Juanita was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She loved going to church and reading her Bible every day. She worked for Fred’s Family Dollar for 38 years and enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, cooking, chocolate pop tarts and singing. Everyone in Marked Tree knew her as Ms. Juanita. Her Great grandchildren called her Nanoo.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Albert Kee, her parents, 1 daughter: Ola Mae Kee, 3 brothers: Woodrow Braden, Eugene Bogard and Marvin Ray Holloway and son-in-law: Jerry Wyrick.
She is survived her daughter: Judy Wyrick of Marked Tree, Arkansas, 1 Grand-daughter: Jennifer Stokes (Michael) of Manila, Arkansas, 1 Great-grandson: Joshua Conlee (Brittney Spears) of Nesbit, Mississippi, 3 Great-granddaughters: Jaycie Greene of Manila, Arkansas, McKenzi and Micah Stokes of Jasper, Arkansas, and along with a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 08, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
Visitation will be Friday, November 08, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home, Marked Tree, Arkansas
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Mrs. Kee since I was a little kid and went to Fred's with my Mama.
