Walter Howard

Walter Howard, 75, of Marked Tree, Arkansas passed away from this life on Sunday April 24, 2016 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born May 25, 1940 to Ganes and Viola White Howard. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building anything, gardening, making flower beds and socializing with anyone of any age.
Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, brother: Arvel Glen Howard, sister: Barbara Sue Vaughn and his puppy of 12 years: Missy.
Walter is survived by his wife of 58 years: Dorothy Howard of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Son: Roger Lewis Howard of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Daughter: Rhonda Sue Cochran (Allan) of Brookland, Arkansas, 2 Brothers: Billy Lynn Howard of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Paul Howard (Elaine) of Lepanto, Arkansas, 3 Grandchildren: Brandon Lewis Howard, Blake Matthew Jones and Brent Allan Cochran and 1 Great Granchild: Haily Elizabeth Howard.
Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Brother Rick Kimery officiating. Murphy Funeral Home Marked Tree in charge of arrangements.
