When I was about 13, they lived in a little house behind ours. I was sick when one afternoon Aunt Thelma brought over a bowl of soup and cheese and crackers. I enjoyed it very much and soon felt better. Many years later into adulthood, I mentioned it to her. She didn't remember that, she said. Little things matter. Betty JoShe told me that she liked artificial flowers best. She doesn't like fresh (live) flowers , because they "die," she said. Betty JoPS: no other reason was given.
