Steven Bogard

Steven Wayne Bogard, 59, of Dyess, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2020 at his home.  He was born on July 26, 1960 to Randle E and Mary Haggard Bogard.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads and picking up pecans.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: James Ray Bogard, Kenneth “Bo” Bogard, William Son and Kenneth Bogard and one sister: Portia Reed.

Steven is survived by his companion: Lori Long of Dyess, three sons: Jimmy Bogard (Meagan Robertson) of Concord, Larry Tippitt (Monica) of Jonesboro and Nicholas Richards (Tracy) of Milton, Florida, one daughter: Milisha Cook (Chris) of Lyon, Mississippi, seven brothers: Larry Eugene Bogard of Bay, Terry Bogard of Jonesboro, Tommie Joe Son of Jonesboro, Larry Wayne Bogard of Jonesboro, Quincy Bogard of Jonesboro, Bobby Bogard of Swifton, and Mark Rainey of North Manchester, IN., three sisters: Mary Sue Buazard of Paragould, Marilyn Williams of Lepanto and Janet Collins of Paragould, three step daughters: Tosha Sparks (Chris), Stephanie McClain (Chad) and Kacey Hatley (Greg), twenty four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at 1:00p.m. at The Lighthouse Assembly of God in Dyess, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 12:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg.

My. handsome Boo...Iloved you from the start You was agood. Man .dad boyfriend..grandpa. Friend.you tnaught me many thing You were my rock.@Im missing you somthing terrible.I hope your not mad. at me for some off the choices i made Id wish id made you get up and went to the hospital....you wasnt okay you left me you wasnt supposed to left me@I wanted at least 20 or 30 more years I love you Boo and thank you for the year you did give me..rest inpeace my love till we see. Each other again...

My dad was always there for me whenever I needed him for advice or just to hang out anytime Id go see him or hed come see me we would stay up all night just laughing and talking this is the worse thing that has ever happend in my life and it kills me I dont know how Im gonna make it I love my dad with all my heart I always wanted to be just like him but that can never happen Ill never come close to the man my dad was I love u dad and there wont be a day pass I wont think about u your son jimmy bogard

He was a good man and everybody loved him. I am so thankful to have had him in my life and proud to call him dad and my kids grandpa. We love you Steve and our life is forever changed without you.

I will always remember Steve as good man . My favorite memories of him are I lived with him in Tyronza and fishing the river. He could tell joke and loved to laugh. He will be truly missed. See again on the side Steve.
